Ideenfindung per Dictionary Roulette

witzige Idee in einem Forum auf Idea Cafe’s Cyberschmooz (geiler Name, lol) von einem gewissen „Johnny K“:

…but one excercise I do every few months is to do what I call Dictionary Roulette. People laugh at me all the time for this, but I’ve drawn up a half dozen decent business plans in the past 2 years doing it and I’ve got more ideas than I have resources now….

Open the dictionary and quickly scan a page, write down whatever words you remember from a quick scan then try and think why you pikced up on those things and not others, think of any that pique your intereste and think of something associated with it that you have experience with. Repeat as necessary.

Sometimes helps if you’ve had a bottle of wine first and dont let people find your notes lest they think you a fool

  • mich hat irritiert, daß der Schreiber keinen Link gesetzt hat (ok, kommt nicht häufig vor), dann der Text als reine Kopie fast vom ganzen Posting, dachte es müßte ein Trackback sein. Da aber Trackbacks mit einem anderen Icon und namentlich mit (Trackback) gekennzeichnet werden, konnte das aber nicht sein. Wozu also einen Kommentar schreiben, der nix anderes als das Posting nochmals zitiert? So habe ich genauer nachgeschaut. Werde jetzt auch optisch alle Links unterstrichen anzeigen lassen und den Spamfilter etwas anpassen müssen (jeder Link im Kommentar = Moderation).
