The Telegraph Media Group conducted an internet survey in the UK and US while Metro International used its online reader panels in France and Denmark. Carried out in May, the respondents included 6,066 from the UK, 1,798 from the USA, 954 from France and 651 in Denmark.The findings were echoed by a study by the media agency Universal McCann, which surveyed young, heavy internet users and found that nearly 30% of them in Britain had never heard of blogs, while less than 10% would visit and leave comments on them
