…but one excercise I do every few months is to do what I call Dictionary Roulette. People laugh at me all the time for this, but I’ve drawn up a half dozen decent business plans in the past 2 years doing it and I’ve got more ideas than I have resources now….
Open the dictionary and quickly scan a page, write down whatever words you remember from a quick scan then try and think why you pikced up on those things and not others, think of any that pique your intereste and think of something associated with it that you have experience with. Repeat as necessary.
Sometimes helps if you’ve had a bottle of wine first and dont let people find your notes lest they think you a fool
